The Eau Gallie High School Concert Choir and Women’s Choir held a public rehearsal this evening for their upcoming performance at this year’s MPA’s. I used my dinky little HTC Excalibur to record it from the seating in the auditorium.

The performances were very good — this recording is absolutely awful. The phone just barely had the horsepower to compress this to MP3 in realtime and it did a poor job of it. The next recording will be direct, uncompressed WAV. This audio has been “massaged” as much as possible to be audible. It sounded much better in person, I promise.

The silly audio module that handles that stuff added some new permissions that I needed to actually enable before downloads and playback worked for everybody.
