It seems lately like more and more early adopters are getting screwed harder and harder as time goes by. The so called "format wars," featuring "HD DVD" versus "Blu Ray," are a great example of this in action. With the major studios either completely abandoning HD DVD or at least switching to both formats until one dies, pundits are declaring "Blu Ray" the winner of the format war already.
