1,500 Nodes and Counting!
Woooo! Willfe.com’s poor, overworked backend now contains exactly 1,500 nodes in it. That includes pictures and posts, but it’s a nice round number that I think deserves a bit of commemoration.
This “iteration” of Willfe.com is powered by Drupal, a surprisingly powerful CMS written in PHP. I have no love for PHP, but for an app written in the language, Drupal’s pretty damned good.
Yes, incidentally, I’m painfully aware of how generic the site actually looks since it’s using the “stock” Pushbutton theme (barely modified), and I’m pondering ways to make it look better.
Yay me for actually sticking with this web site and its content for this long, even with two lawsuits either attacking it openly or quoting from it to support a legal claim (meaningless to the case in question) that I don’t like somebody. I know, I know, I can hear the response now: “no, Willfe doesn’t like somebody? Blashpemy!”
Heh, yup, I’m an all-knowing, all-loving, warm-and-fuzzy kind of guy and yet two entities (yes, I’m using “evasive” language to be clever) have decided I suck enough to sue me.
No, the first one didn’t go anywhere. I laugh at them. No, I don’t expect the second one to go anywhere. At the rate it’s been going, we’ll likely still be listening to excuses why [insert annoying person’s name here] keeps missing the damned court appearances until sometime next year. All that silly “evidence” and “testimony” crap? That won’t happen until 2008. Heh.
